This is an antique wooden box with an intricate colourful micro mosaic pattern down the sides and bordering the lid. The centre of the lid has a repousse metal panel that has been embossed with an image of a King or similar with men stood around him. This after a little googling I found to be Islamic - Persian sort of design. No maker's marks etc. In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear.
