  This is an absolutely beautiful, very old and large, heavily carved & detailed camphor wood Eastern Oriental trunk/ blanket box / chest / coffee table. This Chinese wooden hand carved trunk has stunning carving to the top, sides and back and is very heavy & of top quality.    This is a beautiful example of an original mid-century vintage piece of furniture. It has its original key and the lock works well. The tambour door slides up and down well. Beautiful craftsmanship, constructed from solid wood. Finished with French Polish, easy to maintain. Removable wooden drawers, with finger grooves on the underside to help slide them out.
