It has no movement and can be used straight away. The bench has a solid oak panelled back which, if needed, slides forward to sit on top of the arms to form a table.    A beautiful example of Midcentury British Design by G Plan from the 1960/70s. The teak table closed is round and sits four very comfortably but extends to sit six-eight and becomes oval. The table sits on four beautifully tapered legs and the mechanism to extend is very easy to use. There is slight colour difference between the extending leaf and the permanent leaves and some very slight discolouration to the area were the extending leaf folds but not enough to detract from the beauty of this table, This piece would look stunning in any home.
