It has no movement and can be used straight away. The bench has a solid oak panelled back which, if needed, slides forward to sit on top of the arms to form a table. Collection is from the PE19 6SS area of Croxton in Cambs. This is a good quality bench of its time but we are unsure of the exact maker, age, origin etc. That said it is a well made bench and very sturdy too.
