For sale, a beautiful bergere chair dating from the Edwardian era I think. The chair has been beautifully reupholstered in a cream chenille fabric. The upholstery is in excellent condition. There are scratches and marks consistent with a piece this age, but this doesn't take away from the beauty of this chair. The chair is also very comfortable and would look lovely in a conservatory. The chair is 68cm wide, 80cm long, and the seat height is 45cm.

   This is a very rare and beautiful original Edwardian antique three piece Bergere suite perfect for lounge, conservatory or orangery and all three items come to you in excellent vintage condition with no significant damage. It's not been messed with and the only things to point out are that it has some very minor damage to the caning to the chair pictured on the right and very light wear to the arm tops, beyond that, there's nothing you wouldn't expect.    Nice quality and very heavy. Carved crest rail, scroll arms on claw and ball feet. Condition report - in good used condition. The frame has the odd scufff commensurate with age and use. The upholstery is in good condition. One small mark on the front edge but with a bit of upholstery cleaner I think it will come out.
