Hello this is a vintage letterpress wooden type case tray more popularly known as printers tray stripped of years of dust and dirt finished off with a coat from the oil of British Rapeseed to enhance and preserve the honey colour of the wood. Lined with Antique Pine and fronted with Oak, it had map like patterns and wooden discolourations from the printers ink. It has a multi-coloured patina on the Brass joiners which were lovingly cleaned by hand piece by piece to expose its original colour as well as in its metal handle. It is in very good condition having only small imperfections and signs of wear and tear brought about by its age. Please zoom in all the pictures provided for more details.
