Hello this is a vintage letterpress wooden printers tray stripped of years of dust and dirt finished with a coat from the oil of British Rapeseed to enhance and preserve the dark honey coloured wood. The 98 compartments measuring 4.2 cm x 5cm are in good condition in general but because of its age has signs of wear and tear. The light map-like pattern on the lining are the stains and wooden discolourations from the printers ink it had collected through the years. It has the original handle from its maker John Haddon & Co. Please zoom in all the pictures provided for more details.
