There is an old makers label attached to the back of the chest which is torn and damaged unfortunately. Dovetailed joints, expertly crafted, linear reeded carvings on the top and bottom and sides, solid and heavy Walnut wood, not veneer. This has a lovely aged patina and is marked with old scratches and fading but has been polished or waxed throughout the years and is simply stunning. It is lined inside each drawer with a dark red patterned paper lining. Brass knobs / pulls - very attractive.
