I bought two of these from a very long established haberdashers in Marlybone, where they had been since they were manufactured in the 1950's. This one had been adapted from a large one, to make it more useable as a shop front counter. It's been gently refurbished which makes it in very good condition..... This has been used in my art studio for 20 years, could do with a polish to brighten up the wood, but otherwise in excellent condition with no chips or dents, there is a water mark on the top but this will definitely come out with a polish as it is not varnished but polished only.
