This is a vintage reproduction Yew secretaire chest of drawers I've just cleared from a local house. Its all good and solid and very heavy. It has lots of general surface wear and tear as shown in the pics. Its very faded in places and has damage to the back right hand side corner as shown in the pictures. The chest has a top double drawer as a desk with leather top. Its 29.75ins wide 16.5ins deep and 40ins high. Collection is from Chingford E4 North East London. Pair of vintage gilt wood French Louis style armchairs. Not sure of age of these, but definitely at least vintage! Chair frames good solid condition, and upholstery is usable as is, but the seats are rather'squishy' so ideally you'd want to reupholster. The blue and pale gold silk? Brocade fabric is in good condition, no rips or stains as far as I can see. The gimp braid is fine, but there are a couple of areas where it is just starting to fray slightly and become detached, easy enough to fix if you're not re-upholstering. Vintage antique Double Pink velvet wood frame bed. We were told 18th century. Maybe, maybe not, but it is quite old. The head board and foot board are in used condition with marks and knocks here and there due to its age. The velvet is in good condition and has gold star detail with braid around the edge. As the bed is old, the base frame is made up of various bits of timber and bolts which I've made myself to run through the legs, as seen in the pictures. IIts not at all hard to put back together, but you will need to know what your doing with a cordless drill and a rubber mallet. All ...
