Michiba Soukou was born in a long-established lacquerware shop in Enuma District, Ishikawa Prefecture (present-day Yamanaka Onsen District, Kaga City) that mainly produces tea utensils. He learned lacquer techniques from his strict father, and his skills are highly regarded among Yamanaka lacquer artists.

This product is an antique. To prevent damage, do not use in the microwave or in the dishwasher.
