A large vintage oak desk produced in the 1940s/50s. Constructed from solid oak and oak veneers, the desk features three solid oak drawers to the left side, two drawers to the right and pull out slides. In great vintage condition, the oak has a lovely light colour and grain pattern.

With all the charm of the era, you can have hours of fun pretending you're a banker, librarian or strict headmaster! It goes back together very easily with the screws provided. I have a smaller version of this desk also listed for sale.

Width between pedestals: (seating area) 67cm. Heights: 11cm (X4) 26cm (X1).

The older pieces of furniture are better made, normally by craftsmen and not machines, have more character & if looked after will last many years. I also love much older pieces, if they are unusual, well made & a great design I will offer them for sale. I like to keep pieces as original as possible & will clean & re oil / wax.

I convert some to'Hairpin leg' pieces if they have no legs / ugly legs or missing legs. I do NOT allow customers to arrange their own couier as I cannot accept responsibility for the item in transit.
