Vintage French Shop Counter Kitchen Island Table With Castor Wheels Plank Top. Large vintage French workbench shop counter from the mid 20th century. The base is a very deep dark blue that we have cleaned back and applied a clear protective coat to make it wipeable. The top appears to have been added later and is solid wooden plank top.

We have applied a clear wax to the top to ensure it is waterproof and wipeable. All ready to be installed as a kitchen island, large dining table or retail display table. There are two drawers under the counter that feature the original brass cup handles with lovely wear.

The unit is heavy and has had metal castor wheels added to make it easier to move around a room. This would look great as a kitchen island or for a boutique retail shop or studio.
