Original & rare compact bureau made by disabled soldiers for Vetcraft shops. Unsure of age but would guess around the 1960s.

A Nice quality piece with simple construction, unusual textured aged finish the the wood. This piece really does a charm about it and perfect fit the smaller home. CONDITION overall for its age is good, there are of course the usual age related scratches and marks.

92 high x 58 wide x 32 deep x 60 knee height room. The older pieces of furniture are better made, normally by craftsmen and not machines, have more character & if looked after will last many years. I also love much older pieces, if they are unusual, well made & a great design I will offer them for sale. I like to keep pieces as original as possible & will clean & re oil / wax. I convert some to'Hairpin leg' pieces if they have no legs / ugly legs or missing legs.
