An unusual Antique French wooden sewing clamp. A pin cushion top and a wool, cotton or string holder base. I do not know what type of woods have been used. They have a lovely aged patina. There are a few dings, bumps etc from use. Also a few old worm holes as is usual, with French wooden and treen items. All components are slightly lose fitting. I have not glued them. Approximately 33cm or 13 high from bottom to top once screwed half way up. No cleaning or restoration has taken place since it was bought in France 10 years ago.
