   Early to mid 20th century large and heavy ethnic Indian hand painted decorative red/orange hard wood. Box with solid brass furnishings. Original beautiful Kerala Nettur petti jewellery box. Handcrafted hard wood with pyramid top form and decorated with heavy brass decorative mounts, with a hinged lid. The ethnic jewel box of the Kerala woman was a mark of status.
