This is a beautiful Italian bombe commode with lovely hand painted detail originally retailed by Harrods of London. This dates from the mid 20th century and is of serpentine shape, hand painted with harebells, swags, garlands and acanthus scrolls. The cabinet is in a soft sponged green with some minor ageing marks to the top surface. There are three useful drawers and the cabinet is raised on shaped splayed feet.
