Beautiful Victorian cuckoo clock with lovely carved wood detailing. Free standing mantelpiece / shelf clock (not for wall hanging). Stamped on the brass mechanism is'G. 32', indicating it is a Gordian Hettich Sohn which is one of the smaller Black Forest manufacturers founded in 1836 although as it is GHS it is post-1880. Clockwork and cuckoo mechanims Iin full working order including sound via two air bellows. Needs to be wound once a week.
