Here we a charming Antique. The build quality is impressive and the unit remains robust and structurally sound. There are 2 glazed doors which open to give 4 shelves on either side. The central section has a folding table on metal runners and there is room to store writing equipment, paper, folders, etc.. This really is a beautiful statement piece...

The condition is good for age, but there are signs of use and slight damage on the lower right edge as shown in the last photo. This could be easily repaired and the unit could be. Repurposed as a drinks cabinet. Although, if you are a purist, please ignore that suggestion! The rear panel has the word Consort written on it.

I could not find out if this was a brand name.. The cabinet comes with a pair of keys??
