Pretty Deco Style Antique / Vintage French Marble Topped Bedside Cabinet / Cupboard. We have just brought this back from our French holiday home. It was bought from a local antique market near to La Rochelle in the South West region of France.

It is a pretty deco style bedside cabinet with a lovely marbled top that is in generally very good condition. The marble on the top is probably best described as a dark red / burgundy which is in very good condition. It has really interesting styled front feet, and central sculpted support. We think this might possibly be 1930's? There is a singular drawer beneath the marble top, and then a cupboard with two doors at the bottom of the piece.

Both of the handles match and appear to be original. Overall the condition is pretty good, however there are of course some marks as would be expected for an item of this age. Also with it being an old French piece of furniture, it will have some woodworm holes that are found in almost every piece of French furniture of this era. We have photographed the cupboard both indoors and outdoors to try and capture the best overall representation of its condition.

We have recently applied a new coat of boiled linseed oil to enhance the overall sheen. We have a similar styled, but not matched cupboard for sale. We felt they were similar enough to have them one either side of the bed in one of our guest bedrooms. Weight - 21.0 kg. Due to the size and weight of this item, we would prefer for it to be collected from the Guildford area (GU2).
