Early Twentieth Century, Mahogany & Veneer In The Georgian Style. Made By Simkin Cabinet Makers, Colchester.

The Sloped Writing Top Has A Drop Down Lid. The Interior Is Fitted With A Trinket Stationary Drawers & Pigeon Hole Compartments.

The Base Has Three Drawers. Standing On Ball & Claw Feet. Showing General Expected Signs Of Regular Use, Age & Wear. The Polished Finish Shows Expected Surface Scratches, Some Lightly Indented. The Polished Finish Shows Chipped Surface Wear To The Corners & Edges, Mostly Along The Edge Of The Sloped Lid.

Occasional Small Chips To The Veneer At The Side Edges & To The Top Of The Bureau, Some Of Chips Have Been Repaired & Filled. General Use Marks To The Interior Writing Compartment & Drawers. The Writing Pad Is Worn & Lifted In Areas. Indented Surface Scratches To The Back Of The Writing Compartment, Hinges & Supports For Sloped Lid On Good, Strong Working Order. General Aged Scuffs To The Feet.

The Drawers Are Strong & Smooth Running. General Use Marks To Interior Bases. Handles Show Light Aged Tarnishing.
