Vintage Haberdashery Shop Fitting Counter Display Cabinet Drawers Sideboard 16 Drawer with a glass top and sides. This is a beautiful piece of furniture with great character. It was previously used as a shop fitting in a Haberdashery unit (as per the brass ruler on the top for measuring out fabric).

I believe the frame of the unit is oak and it features 16 drawers with dovetail joints. The unit is in generally good condition but does feature some signs of wear and tear which is to be expected considering its age and use - these include water marks to the lower legs (caused by mopping), and the glass counter top is frosted from many years of use. The 16 drawers are in great condition, however 5 of the handles have lost their lips, yet are still fully functional with only a small section missing from the top right drawer face. There are slight white damp marks and the odd cobweb to each side between the glass and drawers.

On the front glazed panel there is a small tag that says "Henry Hall display fittings Sheffield". This item would make such a wonderful addition to any home as a unique kitchen island (perhaps fitted with a marble a top) or a side unit.

This would also be a great piece to compliment any business as a prop or display cabinet. Merging old with new just works to give your space that unique and individual look.
