This lovely little Japanese kyodai vanity mirror came from the Gion Kobu district of Kyoto. It appears to have been made in the 1950s or 60s but may be a bit older than that. It is made of lacquered, Japanese Kiri Paulownia wood. It has three drawers: two for brushes, lipsticks, etc. And one deeper one for taller makeup items. There is glass set into the top surface. It has a lovely flower and leaf design in three places on the front of the drawers.
