   I bought two of these from a very long established haberdashers in Marlybone, where they had been since they were manufactured in the 1950's. This one had been adapted from a large one, to make it more useable as a shop front counter. It's been gently refurbished which makes it in very good condition..... There is some fading at the bottom where the floors where cleaned and water has splashed up. We are now moving, and sadly these will not fit. I also have one full size one, see last photo... This has been used in my art studio for 20 years, could do with a polish to brighten up the wood, but otherwise in excellent condition with no chips or dents, there is a water mark on the top but this will definitely come out with a polish as it is not varnished but polished only.
