Here we have a wonderful Amboyna wood cigarette box /case. The box is made from Amboyna wood which as you would expect has the most exquisite grain and it edged to the corners which sets it off nicely.   

Antique Anglo India profusely carved wooden box with foliage and a bird. It could be used to house anything but I think its original purpose was probably as a cigar box just because if it was for jewellery it would normally be lined with fabric. It measures 28cm x 18cm x 9.5cm, weighs 1400g and is in very good used antique/vintage condition. There is a lock but no key.
