Mid Century Art Deco Vintage Danish Yellow Velour 2 Seat Banana Sofa Settee 30s

Material: Velour upholstery with Beech wood frame. Maximum Dimensions: Width 156cm, Depth 86cm, Height 75cm and Seat Height 41cm. Condition: Excellent with only minor signs of age related use, in the form of some very light rubbing to the surface of the velour from use. Description: A very stylish Danish Art Deco 1940s 2 seat'Banana' sofa.

The sofa is upholstered in Yellow coloured velour, with piping around the seat back, creating a nice added ribbed detail. The profile of the sofa is elegantly curved and shaped, thus giving it the Banana name. Like the majority of Danish Art Deco seating from this era, the sofa is heavily sprung underneath and is raised upon a heavy Beech wood frame. The sofa is also raised on four plain block Beech feet to each corner. All items are for sale elsewhere, so may be removed at any time.
