Lovely Antique / Vintage Bedside Cabinet / Cupboard / Plant Stand. We have just brought this back from our French holiday home. It was actually something that we originally bought from an antique market in the UK, and took out to France to use as a bedside cabinet when we first bought the property. This was before we realised how easy and enjoyable it is to hit the brocante markets in France. It served its duty well for us in France, but has now been replaced with something more typically French.

It is a very pretty and typically English bedside cabinet. We're not 100% sure what the wood is. When we bought it, we thought it was oak, but having got a bit more familiar with furniture we now doubt that, and wonder whether it is perhaps a type of fruit wood. Overall the general condition is pretty good. There are of course marks as would be expected for an item of this age.

We have recently applied a new coat of boiled linseed oil to enhance the overall sheen and it has come up beautifully again. Weight - 10.6 kg. Due to the size and weight of this item, we would prefer for it to be collected from the Guildford area (GU2).

For an item such as this, we will not be able to fully protect it for the courier. We will wrap it with a couple of layers of bubble wrap, but would suggest you insist on them bringing a blanket.
