Large antique vintage solid wood church pew bench seat settle wth rear book rack

Welcome to our listing for this large. Solid wood painted church pew style settle bench with rear book rack. This is too large to be sent hence why this is a collection only sale. Collection is from the PE19 6SS area of Croxton in Cambs.

This is a good quality bench of its time but we are unsure of the exact maker, age, origin etc. That said it is a well made bench and very sturdy too. I would assume it to be made from oak but i couldn't say for sure. This is a fairly long bench with the overall measurements being approx. 85cm high x 232cm wide x 45cm front to back.

The seat height is 44cm, the seat depth is 32cm and the back height from the seat up is 43cm. This is a pre-loved vintage bench so it shows general signs of use and age with some marks, scratches and wear and tear in places as shown. Nothing too drastic though or that couldn't be rectified or just lived with.
