The entire unit is solid and sturdy. Cosmetic wear, as shown in the photos. There are marks and aged wear on the top. Some areas of lighter patches, perhaps due to hot items being placed on the wood. All in all, sound condition and a nice useable piece. This is a solid piece of furniture and will bring many more years of use. It has been used so will have marks commensurate with its age but is a nice sturdy item that functions to a high standard. We endeavour to list the condition in as much detail as possible but please be aware; these are original vintage furniture items and therefore will show some signs of age.
